This piece is part of a spontaneous collaboration series between Ali Eyal and David Horvitz, where one artist writes while the other draws. Created using Sumi ink on Japanese paper in Horvitz’s 7th Avenue Garden in LA, these one-of-a-kind works evolved into the Two Hours Without Sun (2024) series, which reflects the temperature and weather conditions of all the locations stored in the artists’ phones, amongst other works.
