The gallery is pleased to present a group of artists who are mainly new to the fair.
For the artists Gabriel Chaile (whose presence anticipates his presentation at the forthcoming Venice Biennial), Agnes Scherer, Tyra Tingleff and Monia Ben Hamouda, this is their first exhibition at Miart.
Agnes Scherer and Tyra Tingleff will present pictorial works. The paintings by German artist Agnes Scherer show her meticulous art-historical research while the Norwegian artist Tyra Tingleff demonstrates her constant formal research of light and colors. Both artists take over the wall space of the gallery booth with their fresh and unique approaches.
On the occasion of the fair, you will also find copies of Tingleff’s debut monographic catalog Of Course I’m Not Sorry, which was recently published by Mousse.
Another new presence at the fair, but a familiar voice to the Milanese public, is the young Tunesian-Italian artist Monia Ben Hamouda, who has recently joined the roster of artists represented by the gallery.
Also joining them are Petrit Halilaj, Patrizio Di Massimo, David Horvitz and Franco Mazzucchelli, who are all artists already present and active in the Italian art scene.
