Selva ongoing project presented at Artissima 2016 Present Future section with P420
“Selva” is an ongoing project in which I make new paintings following the dreams of a curator named Rob about the murals Mexican artist Miguel Covarrubias made in 1939 in San Francisco, California; all of these dreams as registered and transmitted by Rob’s girlfriend Selva. We are walking together in Paris. I show you my open hand and the things I had inside my pocket (2016), is the first of these dreams and the first painting of the series.
