The film was made by Ulv Jakobsen and Ulrich Sackenreuter in 1991 on the occasion of Rehfeldt’s retrospective at the Ephraim palace in 1991. Depicting a medley of different scenarios, the film includes the interior of a home, Rehfeldt’s visit to Russia, documentation of a reading and musical performance, a public outdoor art exhibition and Mail Art made by Rehfeldt stamped with phrases such as, ‘Die Kunstlers Brot ist hart’. Polaroid self portraits of Rehfeldt, dressed in more than 50 different military costumes, reenact his accidental arrest in Kassel due to his resemblance to a member of the RAF (Red Army Faction).
