The first is a camp, a place which suggests a temporary installation, although it is very organized, in natural zones which are sometimes made for this and other times improvised. Camps are generally a base, a meeting place, and the starting point for an adventure or an excursion.
The second is a catalogue, designed to provide an inventory of what can be discovered at the camp and around it. The catalogue is a poetic, but precise, list of certain geographies, varieties of animals and behavioural types.
The whole is Camp Catalogue, an exhibition by Jérémie Gindre which is presented like the setting for countless stories, already written or waiting to be written. First setting up at La Criée de Rennes in the summer, going next to the Kiosk in Ghent, Belgium, the camp will finally deploy to Mulhouse in the winter, adapting to each season.
