My Sisters is an installation by German artist Heike Kabisch. Installed on the rocks at Dadaepo Beach, it features sculptures made from delicate materials, merging human and natural forms into hybrid figures.

Kabisch’s practice explores the vulnerability of human existence, the complexity of emotions, and our connection to nature. Her works evoke myth-like spaces that revive forgotten memories and invite reflection on what it means to exist in times of ecological crisis.

My Sisters is inspired by the seahorse, a small and fragile creature known for its remarkable adaptability. The figures appear to merge human and seahorse, standing at the boundary between sea and land. They seem to pause as if gently washed ashore by the waves, embodying both resilience in survival and the tenderness of caring for one another.
