Featuring the works of artists Marion Andrieu and Zora Mann, Bicéphale consists of a set of two folded monographic posters bound together into a double-sided publication.
Between an artist edition and image-essay, the publication explores the recurrence of signs and symbol at the core of the practice of each artist. It juxtaposes views of their artworks with images of different statuses: photographies from their personal archive or sources of inspiration and references. The reverse sides of the posters present images of existing artworks by each artist, reconceived as a new composition specifically for the publication.
Bicéphale was published on the occasion of the exhibition / interf Δ ce(s) /, Tales of Babel which was presented at Haus am Lützowplatz, Berlin, from April 22 to June 11, 2017.
