Alvaro Urbano’s work has a strong connection to architecture and fiction. He selects the ideal medium that ranges from large-scale installations, through to film and performances. In three acts, Urbano analyzes the relationship of artist’s biographies, iconic artworks and presentation modes in exhibitions. An important moment is the perception of objects: Survival large base, the moody move through space – empty and without content. A child is playing with reproductions of famous art and cultural objects. A person dressed in black that buries an object in the garden of the Kunstverein with the help of a shovel.
